Celebrating Personal Milestones Through Boudoir Photography

Miss K and I met a few years ago when I did makeup and hair for her sister’s wedding. We instantly hit it off and have kept in touch ever since. In the initial stages of launching my Boudoir Photography business, she was one of the first people to book with me, and I’m so grateful that she did.

I always ask my boudoir clients why they are coming in for a photoshoot. Miss K told me that she had recently reached some personal goals, and was about to finish her schooling so she wanted to do a boudoir shoot to celebrate her accomplishments. Heckin’ love that.

Here is what Miss K had to say:

“I originally knew that my sister had done a boudoir shoot and I had been doing some work on myself. Going to the gym, taking care of myself, and I was finishing up my education program so I knew I wanted to feel that confidence and see myself in a new way!

I didn’t have too many expectations, my mind was open as I had no idea what I was going into. I just knew it was going to be a photo shoot for me and I was going to be doing some sexy/confidence boosting poses and such.

I felt absolutely amazing after the shoot. Lindsay poured so much confidence into me with boudoir photography. Once I saw the photos I immediately said “wow that’s me!” I had never seen myself like that and I felt so confident. I saw myself as more beautiful and I saw the confidence within those photos starting to build.”

Shortly after her boudoir photoshoot, Miss K got engaged (woo!) and quickly asked if I was available for their wedding date. I am happy to say that we will be working together again this year when I do her bridal makeup and hair!

Miss K had more to say about her experience:

“With the photos, I had posted some of them and I sent the rest of them to my fiancé. On the day of my wedding, my bridesmaids are going to take turns giving my Fiancé a photo from my boudoir shoot.

What would I say to people thinking about doing a boudoir photoshoot? Hmmm, well I would say, absolutely just go for it! I didn’t know going into it that it would build my confidence and help me to see myself in a more beautiful light than I did before. I feel more confident with my body and when I look at these photos all I can think is wow! I am so grateful to have had Lindsay take these photos for me, and I’m even more grateful for her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day! I would never trust anyone with this as much as I trust Lindsay!”
